Jordyn, 9, has always been close to her brother Mason, 6. When they were placed in foster care, they were separated, and there wasn’t a family to take them both. They didn’t see each other for over a year. The Caregiver Advocacy Program worked with their uncle, with whom Mason lives, to arrange not only an adoption for Mason, but regular visits for Jordyn and her brother. Jordyn and Mason are now both in safe and stable homes where they can stay forever – and they’re still best friends.
