Biography

Katherine represents clients in education, domestic violence, and caregiver advocacy matters.  Katherine joined the Children’s Law Center in May of 2019.  Before moving to Colorado, Katherine completed an Equal Justice Works Fellowship at Legal Aid Chicago, serving students and families who were affected by school closings and district restructuring in Chicago Public Schools.  At the end of her fellowship, Katherine became a staff attorney in Legal Aid Chicago’s Children & Families Practice Group.  As a staff attorney, Katherine represented youth in foster care in a variety of education matters, including special education and school discipline proceedings.
