Rachel Judd

Biography

Rachel joined the Children’s Law Center in 2015. She is developing a school-to-prison pipeline project to provide individual representation, community education and systemic advocacy to keep at-risk students in school and out of the court system. Meanwhile, she continues the Center’s work advocating for the special education needs of children and school stability for youth in foster care. In law school, Rachel focused on child advocacy, representing juveniles in restraining order proceedings as an intern with the Children’s Law Center’s Domestic Violence Program, in dependency and neglect proceedings in the Advocacy for Children and Youth Clinic at Yale and in administrative proceedings at a detention facility as part of the Juvenile Service Project at the Public Defender Service for DC.
