Zachary joined RMCLC in April of 2023 as the Caregiver Advocacy Program Staff Attorney. Before joining RMCLC, Zachary practiced in Colorado, California, and New York. In New York City, he represented youth in abuse and neglect proceedings, while also advocating for the educational, medical, mental health, and permanency needs of children. He then practiced in California, representing victims of abuse in domestic relations and protection order cases. Zachary also worked as a prevention educator, teaching classes on consent, healthy relationships, and the law to students from Kindergarten to college. Here in Colorado, he has represented victims of crimes with Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center and facilitated prevention programs for the Blue Bench, the Denver metro area’s rape crisis center. Zachary is excited for a new opportunity to advocate for the needs of underserved and in need youth while working with the caregivers in their lives.
